Owner, lovely lady nothing was too much for her.
Very informative.
Food very good and priced well.
Bathroom was immaculate.
Furniture a little dated.
Maybe a work in progress I think.

I really liked this hotel. I knew it was only 3 stars when I booked, but the staff were very friendly and I was pleased with the room (excellent bathroom). The hill country is stunning, with great walking nearby. A good base for exploring the upper Rhonnda valley. Breakfast was included, making it good value for money. Bar food was ok. Very good public transport links.
Slightly uncomfortable beds. No local restaurants, only takeaways.

Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Good value. Parking nearby. Room & bathroom were a good size and the family bedroom suite has two bedrooms so plenty of room.
The mattresses are old style springs and not that comfortable and the towels are tiny. I’m a size 10 female and they barely went round me 😬

The breakfast was as good as we've had in five star hotels. An amazing choice, too. We loved the little lounge area, with a good supply of books and board games. Good quality bathroom supplies, including body lotion, which is not often provided.
A non- slip mat for the shower could have been provided.
