Home from home

Had another lovely stay on our way back down from visiting family we love here as a nice little resting point beautiful caravan always warm and cosy 😀 i will always recommend here its lovely for long or short stay visiting beautiful views lovely little pub around the corner little walk but well worth it..thanks again guys its brilliant your always so helpful and accommodating.

All was good the more times we visit the more good points we see but its just cold and wet this time of year but thats everywhere isn't it really.

The kitchen was not clean at all. The shower Don't have any hot Water and no toilet roll..

Upsetting owner and his caravan

There were all the amenities required which were useful during our trip. The heater was working fine. Shower was good. Had all the cutlery for our breakfast and dinner.

1. Kitchen rood had a major leak and made a total mess on kitchen floor as it was raining all day. I immediately told the owner/staff but they said they didnt see any leak. Either they were lying or not great at checking the place before handing over to guests. 2. Weddings were definitely not changed as there were lot of human hair all over the pillow, duvet and bed. After telling the owner in frustration, he still didnt accept their mistake and said he has already changed them. 3. Beds/mattress were the worst of all, me and my friend suffered for 4-5 days post vacation having bad back and neck because of the poor mattress spring. 4. The owner said he would come and fix these the very next day but never came and when I messaged he never responded. 5. Overall, service was very low standards. Either the owner is lying, or he must be very poor at his business service.

Great location with all the facilities you need!

The location of the caravan was perfect as we were there for Buttermere and Cummock Waters! There was everything we need at the property such as washing machine, microwave, and pots & pans for cooking dinner. The shower was great, that water pressure was amazing - something I didn’t expect in a caravan.

There was a bit of a doggy smell and we found some dog hair on the couch. Didn’t matter much to us as we just left the windows open to air out the smell but just an FYI. Didn’t enjoy the duvet cover and pillow covers in the master bedroom, was fluffy which was quite warm.
