Beautiful setting, comfortable and clean
It was cold, had to have electric radiators on all the time, everywhere in the kitchen got damp when cooking

Brilliant location, around a 5 minute walk from the beach. Also not too far from places like Wast Water or Derwentwater. Good facilities close by.
Helpful host, replied quickly and communicated well.
Clean and cosy property. Especially loved the fireplace.
Highly recommend this place.

Value for money, great location.
Heating, especially in the winter months, the wee oil radiators ok but can still be cold enough.

Nice little cottage in a great location. A few minutes walk to the beach which was wide at low tide, plenty of bird life and great for sunsets. Peaceful area, just the occasional train. Mostly we heard the lovely groups of geese flying over.
A little bit more crockery and cutlery would be helpful.

Basic but good value for the price . Close to some great places to visit. We enjoyed the lakes and this cottage was a good base for day trips out.
The rubbish bin was full to overflowing when arrived so we had to take all our rubbish to a recycling bin.parking is an issue despite the information. The neighbours made it that very clear as we tried to unload the car.
The drive is a mass of potholes and you need to be very careful or risk damaging your vehicle.

Lovely little cottage, clean, cosy and peaceful area. Cannot fault our stay. Only gave an 8 due to the bumpy road leading up to the cottage, I did scratch underneath my car. I know the work on the road has been agreed to get done soon. Apart from that we would definitely return. Thank you for having me and my mum it was a lovely Mother’s Day weekend away.

Great location, nice and quiet, lovely neighbours, and the cows right outside the living room window were a delight .
Nice walk to the beach, which we had to ourselves.
Nice to have a washing machine.
Had everything we needed.
Oven not the best, an air fryer would've been good.
Didn't expect to need to use the heating in the middle of June, which took a while to get the 1 room warm.
Tea, coffee and sugar could do with being checked and renewed (bought our own from the co-op in Seascale).
Toaster had a burnt poptart stuck in the bottom of it, and lots of crumbs, should be checked and emptied/cleaned after every stay. (Fire risk).
Hoover needed emptying and doesn't really do a very good job.
Emails all stated check in from 4pm, arrived at 3.50pm to a man cleaning who said check in was at 5pm, give him half an hour.
