Relaxation and recuperation!

Lovely caravan on well maintained small site.

There was nothing not to like and I would love to go back… the only thing that could make it better is if there was a gate on the veranda so that it was enclosed for my dog to stay outside.

Hidden gem

Very last minute booking for 2 vans on the same site. Had a slight issue with the gas but the owner came up with in a few minutes to rectify the issue..beautiful views all around. The caravans were very clean the extra beds were made up for us which was very much appreciated. All the people on site are lovely so a lovely place to visit. Considering it was a last minute booking we have stumbled across a hidden gem and will be returning again..

Absolutely amazing😊

Absolutely lovely property, clean bedding, towels and blankets on the sofa and beds. Plenty of toilet roll, coffee, tea, sugar and hot chocolate. Cooking equipment and everything you could need. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back 10/10 :)

Good location.

Terrible stay due to numerous issues listed below. Absolutely baffled by all the previous positive reviews on this caravan. The host offered possibility of a partial refund to prevent us writing an honest review then later retracted this offer. Please note the host owns numerous caravans on this site. 1. Blood stained bed sheets (the host was aware of the stains and knowingly put these on the beds/didn't offer replacements when this was highlighted - see photos). 2. Vile smell throughout caravan and all over sofas/beds due to previous guests having 2 husky dogs (the host offered to bring air freshener when this was highlighted but instead dropped off fabric spray and disinfectant/claimed they thought the smell had gone). 3. Bins not emptied prior to check in, foul smelling waste/flies present in kitchen. 4. No hot water/heating and broken shower fixings (the host told us there were instructions for changing the gas canisters after we had checked out/these were not clear to us). 5. Lacked basic level of cleanliness (see photos of bedding and dust/cobwebs).

Was a lovely break, very relaxing

The caravan was lovely and clean, also well equipped. It was very homely and comfortable. Lovely location.

There was no gate on the decking. Another dog ran up the decking at my dogs.

Very nice place to stay

We stayed just for one night as we were heading to Scotland, but in all honesty, if we decide to come back to lake district - we will definitely pick that location to stay.

Our caravan was double booked (booking from 2 different pages), but the host was absolutely brilliant and sorted the problem out within 2 minutes. 👍🏻

Good size caravan

Good size caravan, had everything you need. We left my son's back pack with his teddies in it by accident and the owner rang us and posted it on to us.

We arrived at night and it was very hard to locate the caravan by the numbers.

We had a great time despite poor whether.

Very good location, stunning view points over mountains and lake nearby, not far from Buttermere, 5 min by car ( or 15 min walking ) from the nearest pub with excellent food. Spacious caravan with everything we needed and even more. Fast responding and friendly owner.

We were left with limited amount of toilet paper and hand wash but that was quickly topped up when asked. No tv signal.

Could have done with a gate for the dogs and the bars are a bit too far apart for our little dog, he kept getting out.

Very comfortable stay in a quiet corner of the Lake District

We had a fab stay at this caravan. It had everything you could think of for a stay. So although you are self catering, the host has added everything you would need to stay. We didnt get to take full advantage of relaxing here as it was a base for our busy weekend, but it was very comfortable, very clean in a lovely caravan park

Super easy check-in, lovely little caravan site, easy to find & not down a pot holed single track road!!!! Caravan was lovely & clean & well equipped. Wished we could've stayed a night or 2 longer, we'll definitely be returning guests.
