Good location, nice, clean apartment, good size

Communication with the owners felt quite unfriendly and difficult throughout the stay. Although I was asked several times what time I would like to check in, I then received an abrupt response stating that check-in was strictly from 3 PM, which felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Before check-in, I was required to complete paperwork through a third-party link that suggested my personal details would be shared externally. When I asked the owners for clarification about this, my message was completely ignored, and I never received any reply. This stay was actually booked for my son’s birthday, and I kindly asked if they could perhaps leave a small surprise, like some chocolates, to make the occasion a little more special. I understand they were under no obligation to do so, but the request was simply ignored, which added to the overall unfriendly impression. The apartment itself may be more suitable for Airbnb-style stays, but when booking through Booking.com, I would expect a warmer, more responsive, and more professional level of hospitality.
