Location is this hotels main reason to stay here. Many great restaurants on this street. Close to all major city centre locations.

Lost in translation? We asked for early check-in. They sent us to another hotel miles away with no facility nearby. We came back to this location and checked in here after lunch. Reception staff were helpful but male manager was aggressively demanding 5 star ratings when people checked out.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel and found it to be a solid choice overall. The room was very clean, modern, and minimalistic, with plenty of natural light and all the basic facilities you would need, including a heater, hot water, hair dryer, TV, toothbrushes, slippers, and a kettle. The bed was spacious and comfortable, and we appreciated the small table in the room. The hotel is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the western end of Nanjing Road, and the street itself is lined with many eateries, making it very easy to find food nearby. A major highlight for us was the ability to pre-order Taobao packages to the hotel. Reception was happy to accept and leave them in a designated package corner or keeping them safely in a bag for us.

The room was a little small, which made it tricky to fully open our luggage, and the road can be quite crowded. It’s also about a 5–10 minute walk from People’s Square Station, which may be slightly inconvenient if you’re travelling with large or multiple suitcases.
