This hotel has a great location, in the middle of lots of shopping, awesome food, and staff was very helpful. It rained most of the days during our stay and they had umbrella to use as well.

Room is a bit small, but efficient. You walk in to the room where the basin for washing hands is. This gives enough space for the enclosed toilet and shower area.
Location is excellent. We booked this because it said some staff speak English. I didn't not encounter these staff. The one who I asked questions to, used translation app and gave me wrong directions to Yu Garden, which helped waste 30 mins the next morning because we went round in circles.
They couldn't advise about the big bus or food options either.
Overall, I'd suggest, stay for the location and do your own research. There's a metro station across the road as well. Big bus stop is very close as well.

Very near Yuyuan Old Street. The staff was nice though a few had difficulty understanding English. Hotel was good but old. Maybe a little face-lift will help.
