    very near to metro and the bund. easy to go out

    Not worth for the price for the type of room and standard. Our room smellled of cigarette smoke. changed twice to another room but does not have a pleasant smell either, kinda like greasy linens or a used pillow case smell. White Linens are slightly “yellowish” from prolonged use. Didnt expect that for this hotel chain. Toilets smelled of strong bleach. Overall neat but if u are expecting crisp fresh linens then go somewhere else as the first put-off is the stale smell when u step Foot into the room. No proper entrance, a small reception. Packages are left on a back table to pick up on your own. No staff check, no verification but luckily I didn’t lose any package. Walkway on our floor was indescribable horrible, with housekeeping ladies banging their carts against the walls since 0800, add on with vacuum cleaner Noise and their incessant loud talking along corridor starts early morning. Room doors are heavy and shut with a loud THUD as u exit/enter so expect slamming doors from guests entering/exiting their rooms. Unrestful mornings, Rowdy, hectic… best part are the free Washing machines avail to use.
