The location, it’s so handy for the high street, the public parking and yet has a small garden to relax in. The house itself is beautifully and tastefully restored and is warm, cosy and equipped with everything you could possibly need to make your holiday complete. Well done This was my second visit and I plan more next year.

Location is excellent. Lovely historic feel. Very cosy and clean house. Nice to be in Battle and close to all amenities. Beds comfortable. Bathroom very functional. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby.
Very small fridge. Too little space to prepare food, but we ate out every night anyway. The stairs are steep just as described.

Being very old it was both charming and different Location excellent
The stairs were difficult to navigate for us as we are elderly. It was rather cold but we did turn up the thermostat. The log fire was a great asset.

Zentral gelegen, sehr altes wunderschönes Haus aus dem 15 Jhdt. Tolle gemütliche alte Einrichtung. Bad und Küche neu gemacht ohne den alten Charme des Hauses zu stören. Vermutlich die beste Unterkunft in Battle.
