We had a lovely 2 night stay here with friends during October half term. The house is really cosy (so well-insulated), comfortable and well appointed for a group gathering. There are comfy sofas, a large dining table and a well equipped kitchen. We loved the hot tub too and there are several bathrooms, including three en suite, so we never felt on top of each other as a group of 8. Just be aware that the nearby London road can be busy at certain times and rather noisy if windows are open and the only other quibble is that this property only has double beds, not king sized. Otherwise, a fantastically comfortable stay and very well situated for Battle and other nearby attractions. Thank you.

Quiet relaxing stay, great jacuzzi, PH levels were spot on, landlords were accommodating and helpful.
Bedrooms were clean and towels provided. The underground heating in the kitchen and bathroom was a good touch. Local amenities were very close. Tescos express is a 2 mins drive. Overall very satisfying stay

Sandra and David were great hosts, great communication and an amazing property, thank you for the welcome snacks and the Prosecco!
We (Us, Children, Partners and Grandchildren) stayed here ,as it was the closest we could find of this size (5 Bedrooms) to Biggin Hill Airport (1 hour away ,and where I had a Spitfire Flight booked on Saturday)
We had a lovely welcome and tour of the property, and all had a great relaxing weekend. We also had the benefit of an early check in and late check out.
Thank you both, the Hot Tub was an added extra and well used, as was the BBQ.
If anyone is looking for the ideal place to stay in 1066 Country ... look no further ... go ahead and book Blackfirs!! You will not regret it!!

The house was a great base for a family wedding in Brightling Park. Perfect place for a family dinner and lovely outdoor dining facilities when the rain stopped!
