Photos don't do the cottage justice. Very spacious, comfy beds, very clean and little extras to help make you most welcome. Highly recommend! 10 min walk from the high street, great location. Nicely tucked away in the countryside, very relaxing.
Not really the hosts fault that our stay was during the 'heatwave', though a few fans may help. Managed to keep the cottage cooler and comfortable, with closed blinds and windows open during the night.

Lovely, spacious (barn-style) cottage - well-equipped & good facilities. Fantastic venue - lovely walks from the doorstep. Easy to reach the centre of Battle by foot (across fields) in 10 mins.
I think, if not a family (for example friends or families with older children), only one bathroom in a 6-bed cottage could be a pinch-point.

Place was perfect. We wanted to visit Battle Abbey, which is a few minutes away and Bodiam Castle. Both, and more, are nearby.
