We had a wonderful stay at Dove Cottage. Gavin was a fantastic host – friendly, welcoming and happy to help with anything we needed. The cottage is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, fully equipped with everything you could possibly want, and thoughtfully appointed with so many lovely touches that made it feel like a real home from home. One of the highlights was sweet Quincy the spaniel, who came to visit us and completely stole our hearts! The stunning walled garden is a peaceful oasis right in the middle of Brecon, making it the perfect place to relax after exploring the town. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Dove Cottage to anyone looking for a special place to stay.

How short our stay was

This beautiful cottage exceeded our expectations by far. In real life it is even more stunning than in the photos. Staying here is truly an experience, enjoying the stylish interior and the attention to detail the hosts have added. The highest level of comfort, a wonderful shower and a very comfortable bed. Located in a gorgeous, perfectly maintained garden, and within walking distance of several restaurants and cafés. The location is also perfect for beautiful hikes in Waterfall Country. Private parking on site. Very friendly and helpful hosts. If we are ever in this region again, we will definitely return!

Beautiful property and garden, with parking for two cars in a central location. The property felt homely and the amenities were outstanding. Some very thoughtful touches left by the hosts to allow us to have a lovely stay. There is everything you need, plus more for a self-catering stay in the Brecons. Gavin and David our hosts were friendly and there was great communication from the start to assist with check-in and queries that I had. The property is within walking distance (on your doorstep) for everything you need in terms of shops and restaurants, yet still peaceful. We loved our stay and would highly recommend! Thank

Before we even talk about the property, it has to be said that David and Gavin were excellent hosts. Warm and friendly, they improved our stay immeasurably and gave great tips and recommendations. The property is just beautiful. Gorgeous garden surroundings, tasteful interior decorating and very comfortable. It is new, clean, free of clutter, functional and livable. On top of that, there are so many small touches that made this a great stay, sharp knives, an umbrella, basic supplies to get us through the first few days. The location is great, within a very easy walking distance of the town and easily drivable to the gorgeous hills and the hikes there. We cannot recommend this property highly enough.
