Felt it was a bit neglected as roof had damage already so leak wasn’t new

There was a leak in roof when you used the shower water leaked through onto bunk bed below we only realised as grandson and dad sitting on bunk bed playing and water started dripping on them Cupboard door in kitchen almost fell of when we opened it

Lovely stay in a the very welcoming whisky capital

The location was superb and everyone was very friendly. Really enjoyed our stay in Dufftown, especially the Glenfiddich Distillery tour and the whisky line heritage train.

It can be difficult to get taxis, maybe need to prearrange before travel or have a hire car.

I liked the location and full kitchen. The view of the clock tower and town and valley was beautiful. We made a full breakfast.

A lot. There were dirty towels in the kitchen and bathrooms. The sheets had been used (looked to be many times) and had pubic hairs, boogers, and dirt on the sheets, blankets, and pillow cases. The bathrooms were pretty gross. The toilet upstairs was barely attached and was in a closet with the shower. The shower was filthy and the hot water box did not work so it was either boiling or ice cold. The shower downstairs was filthy. The couches had crumbs all over them and in terms of comfort were rock hard. With all this said I will say that once I contacted the property manager regarding the cleanliness concerns she responded instantly. We left for dinner and when we got back she had made all the beds clean and left clean towels in the bathrooms. Dirty towel left in the kitchen. We appreciated the responsiveness. The beds were very uncomfortable.

Very nice location and beautiful home, super clean and the WI FI worked perfectly. The organisation for the key collection was very smooth with no complication. Hayley was super helpful during our stay.

A very convenient apartment, centrally located in a quiet little town.

Check-in was easy with a lock box, and communication was a breeze using the Booking app. The property is located in the center of town, across the street from their beautiful clock tower. The apartment is very large, with a full kitchen, and also almost too much room for just two people. A great value if you are staying with friends or family. We were very centrally located to many famous whisky distilleries, and stayed in town to tour some of them.

The main rooms downstairs smelled a bit like someone was smoking or drinking during a previous stay. The bathrooms were fine, but both toilet seats were loose to the point of falling off, and that is a complaint I read on a previous review.

Comfy stay in heart of Moray.

Central location - right in town centre. Host was very helpful, we also had safe storage for the bike. Rooms comfy and kitchen well equipped - everything we needed. Two toilets was absolute luxury.

Not sure if previous guests had been smokers - was smell of smoke. Also - the loo seats (both of them!) were loose - most distressing and an easy fix.

Did not realise Accommodation was a first floor flat. Stair a bit steep for an 89 year old. Apart from that pleased with our stay it was only for one night.

Great location near several distilleries, and nice view of the block tower from bedroom windows.

Trash and food behind couch cusions, a d main shower floor needs to be redone so it angles to the drain better.

Location perfect. Size of the apartment great.

Both toilet seats were hanging off, very loose. Cleanliness was not good, sticky door handles, glass pains dirty and kitchen floor hadn't been cleaned. The bed linen and towels smelt of dampness, definitely not freshly laundered. Disappointed.

A worthy stay and a choice I do not regret at all!

Spacious, well equipped, useful, comfortable, convenient. The living room is cosy. The lower level bedroom is more for children but can be used by a single adult. the upper level bedrooms are spacious. The owner's instructions were clear so access and usage were easy.

The upper right bedroom's bed is creeking, the same room's ensuited toilets chamber is tiny so can hardly be used, the kitchen's cutlary drawer needs fixing.

A great wee base for exploring from...

We had 5 pretty comfortable days here. The location was perfect for us, loads of walks in and around the area and there's a small supermarket and a brilliant butchers a few steps away. The owner is very responsive if you have any questions or problems. Dufftown itself is pretty quiet in terms of pubs/restaurants but if you're looking for a peaceful, chilled break I can recommend a stay here.

The double bed is pretty soft which is fine if that's your preference but we prefer a firmer bed.

Dufftown in Covid depression

Location, comfortable stay apart from the bathrooms and lights.

Both bathrooms had broken seats and had foisty smells. Light bulbs were missing or broken on the stairs and landing making it unsafe at night. Tv signal was woeful with pixelation even on basic BBC. Not even one dishwasher tablet provided.
