We had a lovely time there with the family. Cottage was immaculate and nice and central.
A few things cottage was missing: bottle/wine bottle opener, chopping board, reasonable sized teapot. It was otherwise well equipped.

We’ll set out and clean
Needs few items in kitchen. Chopping board, trivet to put hot pots on. Cottage is for 7 people but only 4 cereal bowls, 5 cups etc

The non refundable cancellation because I was out of pocket when two people in the group pulled out

The receptionist was very friendly.
The kitchen table was dirty as was the cutlery and some dishes, so my daughter washed everything before we used it. Lounge leather sofa and lamps were very dusty too.
Only 4 chairs at dining table and house slept 8?? Not enough sizeable pans for a group of 8 and one pan was so warped on the bottom that it took ages to heat up from induction hob.
My husband complained to reception about the above, but to no avail
