Riad Sylvia

Frühstück war immer pünktlich parat und sehr fein. Man ist sehr nahe von Bazars und Restaurants! Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Im Wohnzimmer war es etwas dunkel und die Sitzgelegenheiten nicht sehr komfortabel.

It was all perfect. Had such a comfortable stay here! Everyone was amazing and tended to us so carefully.

De riad ligt op een zeer gunstige locatie, binnen 10 minuten sta je in de souks. Het is een prachtige riad waarbij elke kamer uniek is ingericht. Het dakterras is ruim en biedt voldoende zitgelegenheid om heerlijk boven te zitten. De inrichting van de riad is prachtig en duidelijk met aandacht ingericht. Sylvia was goed bereikbaar en reageerde snel op vragen, wat wij als zeer prettig hebben ervaren. Wij zouden deze riad dan ook zeker aanraden!

We recently spent a week in this Riad never having visited Morocco before. We chose it specifically because it seemed so generous in space and in a very central position. We weren't disappointed. For the money, it is epic! There are many reviews on Airbnb for this Riad should you want to look. I'm not much for extensive reviewing and certainly not repeating at length what others have already said. We very much echo all the good reviews that you can find on this property on that other site. What we would draw attention to is the amazing communication and attentiveness of the host, Sylvia. Though she is not on site she is usually readily/quickly available for any queries you might have and more importantly, puts you together with trusted guides and operators for any trips and excursions you might want to undertake. This may be irrelevant to the more experienced traveller, but for our group, who had never been to a non-western country/culture, it was invaluable. While Marrakech is a vibrant and exciting place there are of course people who would take advantage of visitors, which I almost found out to my cost (also very much my mistake). The providers Sylvia uses are people she knows personally and our full thanks and respect to them. Our drivers/guides Mohammed, Amine and the guy at the Ourika Valley whose name escapes me (Sylvia please add him at the bottom because he was fantastic too!)all made us very welcome and we felt really well looked after. Also we must thank Zoubida and Adnane who live next door to the Riad and are on hand should you need immediate help. And many thanks for Zoubida's wonderful breakfasts!
