Riad Cannelle

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Cannelle and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, peaceful and truly welcoming place to stay in Marrakech. We would especially like to mention Adil and Badr, who were incredibly kind, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. They gave us lots of useful information and advice, helped us find our way around Marrakech, and even warned us about some of the tourist traps to avoid. It was really nice to know that whenever we had a question, we could always turn to them for help. The riad is beautiful, authentic and has a lovely, peaceful atmosphere – a perfect little retreat from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. The location is also excellent: most of Marrakech’s main sights can be reached on foot within about 20–30 minutes, so we were able to walk almost everywhere. Thank you to Adil and Badr for your kindness and all your help! We had a lovely stay and would happily choose Riad Cannelle again. 😊

Great and plentyful breakfast

Nothing to dislike😊

A superb Riad in a great location. Everything is within easy walking distance and the neighbourhood felt very safe and welcoming. The building has been meticulously restored and the suite we had was fantastic. There are plenty of spaces to sit and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the building, including a lovely central courtyard and roof terrace

What I liked about the property in Marrakesh was the staff, who were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The property itself had a traditional Moroccan style, with some nice details like the tilework and a central courtyard that added a bit of character. The rooftop terrace was also a decent feature, offering views of the surrounding area. Overall, there were a few positives, even if the overall experience was fairly average and facilities that didn’t justify the price, an unexpected extra payment just before leaving and the inconvenience of cash-only payments.

What I didn’t like about the property in Marrakesh was that the bathroom felt very old and worn, with visible cracks in the walls which made it seem poorly maintained. I also felt that the property was overpriced for what it offered, as the overall condition didn’t really match the cost. Overall, it didn’t provide good value for money.
