Decent location, good space for 2 people, quiet neighborhood, relatively good price.

Once booked and were in non-refundable status we were sent rather rude rules and particulars that would have dissuaded us from renting if had known them ahead of time. For example, an explicit charge of ¥100K (about $645 USD) PER HOUR for late check-out. Also many nit-picky and unwelcoming policies, like a ¥100K fine "if the police are called on us." Non-contact check in and key retrieval was awkward. Directions were sent via non-user friendly Google Docs and were overly complicated. Interior walls are heavily marked. If the heat was running and a stove burner turned on, a whole-house circuit breaker gets blown (fortunately it was self-resetting after a few seconds). No dedicated place to eat meals. Had to contend with a cockroach on the kitchen counter. As mentioned in other reviews, some of the windows do not have blackout curtains though some do. This and many other little things would be very cheap & easy fixes for somebody who actually cared about being in the hospitality biz. I did not get that impression from this operation.
