Convenient location: about 10 minutes’ walk to Shin-Okubo Station (JR Yamanote Line) and 5 minutes to Okubo Station Very lively area with many supermarkets, pharmacies, beauty drug stores, and restaurants Three halal grocery shops nearby and several halal kebab restaurants, which was a big plus Spacious and comfortable apartment, especially compared to typical Tokyo accommodations Two bedrooms, suitable for families or groups Complete kitchen appliances: oven, microwave, refrigerator Washing machine available, which was very convenient Train noise was acceptable, and closing the sliding door reduced the sound well. One bedroom faces the train tracks, with trains passing day and night (may bother light sleepers) Kitchen utensils were limited (only one pan and a few small bowls and plates) The building is difficult to find because there is no building name or clear signage Google Maps / Booking.com navigation may lead to NC Square Shinjuku, which is incorrect The apartment is on the third floor with no elevator, only narrow stairs, which can be difficult with heavy luggage

침대가 셋이나 있어서 아주 아늑합니다. 근처에 마트나 편의점, 24시 규동집이나 유명 돈까스 프랜차이즈도 있고요. 신주쿠까지 걸어서도 20분 남짓이라 위치도 좋아요. 딱 하나, 숙소 앞뒤로 열차가 다니는데 작은 방은 좀 가까워서 아침에 살짝 소란스러울 수 있습니다.

My family of 5, stayed for 10 days in this apartment. The location of the apartment is still considered close to major train station, Okubo and Shin-Okubo which is very important to us. Cleanliness is good. There are a lot of food choices in the surrounding area. Supermarket, coffee shop is near. Shin Okubo is at the center of the Yamanote Line.

The bed keeps on falling in the master bedroom. The support to the mattress is not sturdy enough and keeps falling. Good thing though, is that the mattress is thick. There is a microwave oven, however, no microwaveable containers were provided. The picture of the location is misleading as we thought the exact apartment was among those buildings in the intersection, which is very near the train station. Instead, it is farther away on the opposite side. Toiletries are enough to last for the duration of our stay, except the tissue paper were it is not a new roll. Only 1 extension cord was provided with 2 sockets. Water heater was provided however, no coffee mugs were provided.
