Hostelle - women only hostel Amsterdam

Very cozy, and clean, felt very safe, there’s everything you need in terms of facilities, comfortable bed and pillows, curtains help with privacy, very nice ambiance in the shared lounge.

Room 9 needs better air conditioning, it was a bit too hot for my liking, and the hostel is a little far from the center (at least 35min away with metro)

A very welcoming and friendly environment. Women were always chatting in the common area, watching a movie, or having meals together. The planned events throughout the week also make it super easy to get know others in a relaxed and fun way. The staff were super helpful and the facilities were very clean.

The only issue I had was I couldn’t seem to open a window in the bedroom, and during a heatwave, it gets a bit hot and stuffy.

Everything, it was so clean and the staff was super nice helping with everything and super friendly. I was there for a concert so every girl there was a fan like me and I made friends.

Everything was perfect I think, maybe a few things that are not property’s fault so…

I only needed a one-night stay somewhere affordable and safe in Amsterdam, so I thought I could try a women's hostel. The hostel’s location is convenient: I took the train from the airport, got off after two stops, and walked about 8 minutes to reach it. The room size and beds were fine.

I requested a quiet room, but the lady in the lower bunk was very noisy and had an unpleasant odour. She also tried to plug in something very late at night, accompanied by strange noises. If you are someone who can sleep anywhere, this may not bother you. Also, my bedding was not clean; when I turned over the pillow, I noticed makeup stains. For an easygoing person, this might be fine, and it is suitable for a short overnight stay. But for someone like me, who is concerned about cleanliness and noise, it was very difficult.
