What I liked: We really liked the location. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the Sparkleweg station, and from there it takes a little over 20 minutes to get into the city. We loved being able to come back to the hotel and freshen up after spending the whole morning and afternoon walking around Amsterdam. The bed was also very comfortable, and we slept really well. Our room had a pretty view, and I really loved the chic and modern style of the room. It felt stylish and cozy at the same time.

What I didn’t like: I think the cleaning could be improved. There were quite a lot of fingerprints on the doors, which made them look dirty from the moment we entered the room. The toilet also had a hard kalk (limescale) stain that made it look unclean. The shower door was also very loud when closing. I think adding a rubber seal around the edges would help prevent the glass from slamming together. Another thing we noticed was that whenever other rooms closed their doors, the walls would shake, and we could actually feel and hear the impact from the bed. Lastly, it would be nice if they offered a buffet breakfast instead of an à la carte option.
