liked the aesthetic of the house.
there is no AC. I need to open the windows before going to bed, then close it in the middle of the night. I just hoped that they provide at least a fan for every room specially during the summer. Our room is also at the very top of the house. we have to carry our luggage up through the steep stairs.

Apartment very nice furnished, books and games available in the room as well as kitchen on the ground floor to use.
A good place to start sightseeing: either by foot or public transport - tram station & Metro nearby.
For breakfast: good cafe just a few steps away down the road as well as grocery store.
Other restaurants for dinner in walking distance (approximately 10-15 minutes).
Not really negative but good to know: very narrow and steep staircase (which is to be expected in Amsterdam when staying in an "old" building), parking on the street very very expensive - I would not suggest to come to Amsterdam with a car.

The location and interior is very beautiful. It's a nice spot where you're a 15 min walk for nightlife while in a quiet easy residential area. The room interior feels bright and welcoming while being comfortable. The pre instructions and communication was very clear, and room facilities all work
The shared kitchen facilities didn't work. One morning the induction hob wasn't working, several attempts failed and myself and a fellow guest also tried while googling the instructions manuals. I suspect the cleaning lock was stuck and it would need a reset but as I'm a guest I didn't want to interfere. What was frustrating was I reached out to the host in severe messages and tried to call for support of this issue with no response, despite the host messaging on the same morning. This wasn't okay given how stressful it caused the start of the morning for us with a scheduled tour. Another issue was the internet was a bit slow at times but this was very minor.
