    My husband and I stayed at Hotel V Frederiksplein and were very disappointed. When making the reservation, I saw several room options with different sizes, and I specifically chose and paid extra for a larger room. However, upon arrival, the room we were given was simply unacceptable. It was extremely small, with a medium-sized bed that took up almost all the space, leaving barely any room to move. The bathroom and toilet were also very cramped and uncomfortable. In addition, the receptionist was the only staff member present and was not helpful at all. The service was unfriendly and unprofessional, which made the overall experience even worse. I would not recommend this hotel.

    Tiny room, not advertised like it at all. Light wasn’t working and tiny smelly room. Location is good but nothing like the pictures the rooms

    We loved the room we stayednjn arm at Hotel V, Frederiksplein. We just needed somewhere for the night and were pretty happy with everything. The hotel style is very low-key, modern and stylish with soft downlighting. As you enter, there's a sunken seating area to your right with a retro chic leather sofa and armchairs. Our room was in a building just behind the main hotel. I had requested a high floor, and we ended up on the 3rd (top) floor. The stairs are a bit steep and there is no lift so beware of this when you book: if you are unable to claim stairs make sure you request a room in the main building, which has a lift.

    The standard room is really small, lighting is dark, you can only open your luggage on the bed, and there was no full body length mirror. The bathroom’s lighting is bad as well, and wasn’t as clean as what I’d expect of a standard hotel room when I first check in as there was some hair in the toilet bowl and sink.
