What a heartwarming experience! André is a wonderful host, and from the moment you arrive, you truly feel like you are visiting a friend. The breakfast is freshly prepared and absolutely lovely, with thoughtful touches such as freshly squeezed orange juice. I also really enjoyed having a small private patio next to the room. My bathroom was inside the room, and the stairs leading up to the mezzanine bedroom were quite steep, but this was absolutely no problem for me. The neighborhood is very quiet and residential, while the dock with its restaurants is just a short walk away. Tram 26 also provides a very convenient connection to Amsterdam Central Station. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you, André, for such a warm and welcoming stay! ❤️

Location close to the tram stop (20 min ride to Centraal Station), awesome breakfast, great amenities, and the most perfect host, André, who keeps it running and is always eager to help. Nice residential area around.

To get to the bathroom (although it’s your private) you have to go out of the room and open the next door. But it’s the way how the building is constructed and not a big issue, just don’t do it naked. Another thing to note is that there is no elevator, and the stairs are steep so you have to be agile and careful to climb it, definitely won’t work for people with disabilities. Parking lot is more suitable for smaller cars but I managed to park a large one. Everything written above is not a complaint, just something to be aware of before you book.

André, our host, is the best. Made us feel at home from the beginning. Flexible with arrival time. Very good breakfast. For Amsterdam, the price is fair. 15-minute tram ride to Centraal Station every 7 minutes.🙂

The host was extremely helpful with advice on how to move around and recommendations for restaurants. The bathroom was nice and modern. Breakfast was very good.

I didn't expect such a tiny space. The bed was on a loft just 2 feet from the ceiling and against one wall. You couldn't get up and walk. To get to bed you have to climb a pretty steep ladder The lower section was extremely small, maybe 5x10, with furniture that took most of the area.
