Cosy appartement - Plage des Catalans

Très bonne communication avec l'hôte, qui est très disponible et réactive. L'appartement est moderne, propre et calme. Il est très bien équipé: tout le nécessaire est à disposition. La literie est très confortable, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. L'emplacement est également idéal: avec un arrêt de bus à seulement 3 minutes à pied pour se rendre au Vieux-Port, et le magasin Intermarché juste à côté à pied. Le seul petit point d'amélioration serait l'absence de climatisation. Lors de mon séjour, il y avait la canicule, et le ventilateur mis à disposition n'était malheureusement pas suffisant. Malgré ce petit détail, j'ai passé un très bon séjour, il y a tant de belles découvertes à faire à Marseille!

Clair propre et fonctionnel

I stayed here with my partner in September 2025 and had an amazing time in Marseille. It was the perfect getaway before buckling down for a very wet autumn/winter in Wales. Everyone we encountered was lovely and welcoming despite our inability to speak much french beyond the "please" and "thank yous". Pros: The apartment is exactly as pictured, well lit with a very comfortable living space and we found the bed very comfortable. Good water pressure too. The apartment is in a perfect location. It is really close to a popular beach which can be very busy but it was fine for us (crowded but good vibes). It's got supermarkets a stone throws away for all your essentials or if you want to save some money by cooking a bit. The kitchen is well equipped but we did miss a larger chopping knife. It's within walking distance of Old Port and has great public transport links to get around - really easy tap on/off situation (we used the citymapper app to get us where we needed to go). It also has some great places to eat nearby, even on the same street or next street away. We especially enjoyed the pizzas at "Le Romarin".

Things to consider: - There's no air conditioning but we found keeping the windows open and using the fan provided was fine for us. - For anyone with mobility issues/ large suitcases; you may have trouble getting up to the apartment as it is on the 4th floor up some spiral stairs. We were fine as we had backpacks. I imagine most apartments in Marseille have a set up like this where there is no elevator. That being said, if you don't mind the climb, it really is a great place to stay. Our host, Donia, had great communication and made sure all our needs were met. Cannot fault it, I would definitely stay again in a heartbeat.
