If we knew of the issues we would of never stayed

The actual check in is so far away and we were never advised of road closure, the room we hah only half roll of toilet paper we went looking for more and none. Also we were nervous advised about road closure and road work that went through the night we went out to get something for dinner and struggled to get back to the property. If we knew of the issues we would go never stayed.

The other tennants did not adhere to your rules with load banging and loud talking and banging of doors. Bed cover had stains on it and did not fit the bed correctly.

Overnight in Hamilton

The staff (? owners) were pleasant and helpful. We had to pick up the key at another location nearby and the ? husband of the woman who checked us in, was at the apartment to meet us and show us to our room. At the time, Council were doing road works directly outside the property and it was difficult finding our way in through a very busy intersection with heavy traffic. So check in at that time was a bit stressful! The shower had great water pressure. The complex was very quiet and there were good blackout blinds although you still get light spill around the edges of the blinds. We chose this apartment as it was within walking distance of the function we were attending that night and it was reasonably priced. If you just need a bed with zero frills, then it fits the bill.

The apartment was 'tired', the flooring was stained and the bed was fairly old and soft, although not to the point of being uncomfortable (for us anyway). It was clean enough but definitely not spotless. There was no TV (not that I was looking for one), there were two small cups (mugs would be much better) and no glasses. No dishwashing liquid or a tea towel, so I couldn't clean our plates or cups. Fortunately, we really only needed a bed and had brought water bottles with us. There were two tea bags, four sugars and two coffee sachets. The tea was truly horrible. I know motels tend to use the cheapest tea bags they can find, so I usually travel with my own, but I hadn't on this occasion. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Due to the hospitality of the hosts we really enjoyed our stay with the owners.

Well we actually ended up in a hotel close to this because we asked if we could. Heaphy was a little dark and institutional in feel.

Not the most comfortable stay but for one night at that price it was good.

Good sized room, nice and clean, easy parking, very easy check in despite being at a motel around the corner, staff super friendly and helpful.

Other occupants very loud late into the night, front door of building very loud so woke when it closed. Not the most comfortable but for one night it did the job fine.

My daughter and I needed a place to stay close to the Arena. Heaphy Apartments were perfect! The hosts were AMAZING, upgrading our room (grateful) they literally ran around catering to our needs when we called. Hope to use these apartments again next year. Recommend 10/10.

Clean basic room value for the money

The room was clean and spacious for two people. Facilities were good and it had everything we needed (except a tv). It was quite good value for the money we paid. The staff was very friendly, thank you Nora! Go moomins! :)

This apartment building was a bit tricky to find even with the instructions we got from the reception (which is less than 200meters away), since there were no signs to this place. It seems that there are also longer-term tenants staying there. The bed in our room was uncomfortable since you could feel the springs of the mattress. Would need an extra mattress on top.
