The staff was friendly and the room was clean

Poor quality bed, the room was cold and almost impossible to bring to a comfortable temperature using the airco unit. The breakfast was by far the worst I’ve ever seen. The little choice there was seemed to be passed the validation date. Meat looked greenish and the few slices of cheese had been on that plate for days if not longer.

Friendly and well run hotel that met our needs while visiting friends and family in the area.

Breakfast was lovely and freshly made each day. Great selection of fresh breads and pastries , along with fresh fruit and eggs. Staff was very attentative.

Wonderful accomodation and a great breakfast! A really strategic location, if you want to go to Antwerp, Mechelen and Louven. But also Edeghem is a lovely place to visit!

Most excellent 3 week stay in lovely family run hotel

Friendly staff, will be staying there again for sure!

Great family owned hotel with an excellent location at the main square of Edegem, comfy rooms and quite neighborhood. I would also like to mention great staff that called me day before I was leaving to check when I would like to have a breakfast because they remembered that I leave early and on that day they were serving breakfast later due to the holiday. Although I said it's not a problem to skip the breakfast they have insisted and made it at desired time.

Everything was as expected and more then that.

My stay in De Basiliek was great! We could do early check-in and parking for free, also they have an amazing breakfast. They are super friendly, and try to help you in everything you need.
