Not ideal in summer because of mosquitos.

Hotel is in a location close to work. Breakfast buffet has plenty of choices at a reasonable price.

Room had many mosquitos inside, and the hotel suggested to plug an insecticide on the wall socket. I don't think it is a healthy solution to sleep breathing insecticide all night.

Overpriced & Outdated

No amenities provided with paid rate, only offered for sale at reception. Underwhelming level of hygiene, room smelled of tobacco. Breakfast wasn't able to provide a cold glass of water, just not in line with paid rate at all.

Hotel Ter Elst is a good hotel with excellent location for the yearly shell show in Edegem. The Italian restaurant across the parking lot has excellent Pizza from a wood oven - we are experts (my wife is Italian), and this was the best Pizza for many years.

It was a hotel for one night. The breakfast was good.

Very comfortable and enjoyable but a small low cost breakfast would have been a nice extra.

Everything except the price of the breakfast, which we decided not to have on this basis.

Clean, calm and comfortable

Very clean room, bed was super comfortable and the whole atmosphere is so calm and peaceful. We enjoyed coffee and snacks in the Eat Markt cafe/restaurant downstairs.

Nice room

The hotel sent me tens of emails before my arrival adversting their Thai restaurant and a sort of small market/bistrot insde the hotel. I booked at Thai restaurant for 6 p.m. but no one showed up and the restaurant did not open at all. At that point the msall market was closed too and I had to buy some expensive cold junk food from a vending machine in the hall.

the girl who was at the reception that checked us in, was unwelcoming and at a point told us that she can cancel our reservation and refund us if we don’t like the room. I have added a note to have a king size bed and received a message from the hotel that my request was fulfilled but then when we were checking in the lady was very rude to us and didn’t want to give us a room with king size bed. I showed her the message I received from the hotel that my request for a king size bed was confirmed, she then called her manager and magically she found an available room for us after she spoke to her manager!
