What a beautiful property! My partner had a wonderful stay at Casa Tawny, everything was perfect. Our room was great, very clean with a beautiful view. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, lots of choice and local produce. The lady who worked in the hotel was so lovely, she couldn't have been friendlier giving us recommendations about the local area. Location was perfect, within walking distance to quintas, restaurants and the train station.

Casa Tawny was exactly as shown in the photos, and the rooms were decorated to a high standard with a much better than average bathroom (especially the shower!). The breakfast was fabulous - mainly because of Paula's cakes. The hotel was very clean and fresh. Very easy walk from the train station.
These are not things that the owners can change unfortunately but no elevator was a bit of a challenge - I overpacked so had to carry everything upstairs. Also, not having luggage storage available needed a bit of pre-planning. The owners directed me to the laundromat next door who offered storage which was very convenient.

Perfect location, very clean
Air con didn’t work, unbearable in the extreme heat, very small bathroom, stubbed our toes on the shower frame every time we walked in !
