Quinta do Tedo

We visited the Douro Valley for one night, and Quinta do Tedo was exactly what we were looking for. A small, charming winery with beautiful rooms, a lovely breakfast, and excellent facilities. A great bonus is the complimentary wine tour and tasting, which we really enjoyed. The pool is also perfect for relaxing and unwinding. In the evening, I highly recommend the winery’s restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with very reasonable prices, and the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Quinta do Tedo to our friends! Thank you for everything!

One small area for improvement would be the air conditioning in the room. The A/C downstairs seemed quite old and was not cooling the room sufficiently. Upstairs, where the single bed is located, there was both a ceiling fan and a standing fan, but unfortunately neither was powerful enough to keep the area cool. As a result, it became quite warm during the night, which made sleeping less comfortable. An additional A/C unit upstairs would make a big difference.

This was the most beautiful experience - we loved Quinta Do Tedo - such a soulful , charming and personal little escape so tastefully decorated with stunning views .we had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was very lovely and kind . We had a charcuterie board of wine and cheese on our only evening here and the memories of that evening bring back so many happy thoughts. Special thanks to Bruno who ensured we were treated to some of the best Port wines . Thank you Quinta de tedo .. you will forever be a cherished memory .

Understandably the bistro wasn’t open every night during our stay, The food was amazing along with the views.

The grounds were pretty stunning!

Location was super far from everything. Almost felt like I was a prisoner. Hard to get a ride from this place. Only meal is by the Michelin chef which if fine for one meal but by the second night I just wanted something normal.
