Douro Panorama Valley

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Pinhão, making it a perfect base for exploring the Douro Valley and with such a amazing view. The staff were incredibly accommodating and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the region!

Great stay at Douro Panorama Valley. The towels and bed sheets were really good quality, and in general the place was spotless. The balcony view over the river and vineyards was incredible. I could sit there all day. What was the most intense part of my visit was something I could never expect. I felt ill during my stay. I contacted the property manager and he came right away. At first he took me to a restaurant, hoping some food would help me feel better, but when we saw it wasn't helping, he drove me to the hospital at night, almost an hour each way on a rough road. He stayed with me the entire time I was being checked and then drove me back to the property, arriving close to midnight. He still had to drive to Porto THAT NIGHT after dropping me off. You just can't fake stuff like that... The entire time I could see that he genuinely cared, that it was truly important to him that I would feel safe. It says a lot about the people who run this place and their heart.
