Large three-bedroom apartment

A big spacious apartment in a former hotel-complex with a pool area and private parking. The apartment was great for us with two bathrooms and three bedrooms. Everything worked fine and we loved the friendly cats. It is close to the praia de porto Mos beach (the apartment is in Villa Mos - not the city centre).

We first booked this apartment thinking it was in the city centre (as the map-coordinate on booking points there) - we only discovered that this was not the case when booking transport to the apartment. It was a bit of bait-and-switch, but overall we were happy that we did not stay in the citry centre and that is was close to the beach as well. At checkin we had asked if it was possible to check in earlier. We were told they would try to do that. After arriving we messaged the host (who was very nice in all our communication). She couldn't say when we could use the apartmen, but we were told to wait. This was around 11 - we couldn't enter the aparment until 16.45. To be fair, check in time is posted as 16.00, but it would have been nice to know - we wouldn't have managed expectations better.
