Spacious, airy apartment. Great facilities, very comfy and quiet.

A welcome booklet for guests would be useful

- The appartment is located half an hour walking distance from the city center. Right in front of the appartment is a bus stop which we didn't use a lot because we liked walking everywhere, but it's very useful if you want to get somewhere quick. - It was very useful to have 2 toilets in the appartment as well. One toilet is located in the bathroom so if somebody was taking a shower somebody else could still use the other toilet. - The appartment had more than enough room for the three of us. We didn't have to use the sleeping couch but we imagine that six people have more than enough room in this appartment. - The balcony was a bit small but we knew this beforehand. Was nice to wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee on the balcony in the sun and look at the planes flying over and the train driving by in the distance. - We had plenty of towels for the three of us. We only had to use the washing machine in the basement one time during our one-week stay. The washing machine was also a dryer so it was nice to quickly dump our dirty clothes in there while we went out to do stuff and come back to clean and dry clothes. - The parking space was located in the basement of the flat. The entrace to the parking spaces was located near the door on the frontside so you could enter it very quickly and easily if you come from the A4 motorway. You do need to enter the apparrment first to pick-up the remote to open the entrance, but we just had somebody grab it from the appartment on the first day and left it inside the car for the week. - Near the appartment is a (small) Delhaize supermarket which has enough stuff for a week. The Delhaize is ~ 10 minutes walking from the appartment so it was pretty easy to just go there and quickly get some stuff. If you want some more choice then you can visit the huge supermarket Auchan in shopping center Cloche d'Or by car in ~7 minutes.

- We were planning on cooking a couple times on our vacation in Luxemburg but in the end we opted not to after we noticed there weren't a lot of cooking utensils. We expected those to be there since the kitchen was part of why we chose this appartment. We cooked for one night but without some basic utensils this wasn't an easy job. - It appeared that the dishwasher would sometimes leak. We noticed this the day we cooked so this made us weary to start the dishwasher if we were planning on leaving the appartment. The dishwasher would also smell after being used, which didn't really feel hygienic. - The same goes for the shower. Sometimes we would finish showering and notice a puddle of water on the outside of the bathroom. It appears this was already happening for quite some time considering the bottom of the door and skirting boards near the door were already quite peeled off due to the water. There also appeared to be mold on the walls inbetween the sealant joints in the bathroom. - The matresses in one room didn't fully fit in the bed frames because they were too small. The matresses themselves were fine though. - There probably was a wasp nest on the outside of the window on the side of the balcony. The handle on the window near this nest was removed, so this window couldn't be opened. We can only assume this is something the hosts are already aware of and this was their (temporary) solution. - The middle part of the fridge appeared to be hot rather than cold. We noticed this on one of the last days when we felt the backside of the fridge. We didn't really feel comfortable leaving things in the fridge for too long. All in all we enjoyed our time in Luxembourg but there are some pretty glaring issues that should've been fixed. We didn't talk to the hosts about these issues because we felt they couldn't have been fixed during our time there, but we do feel these issues shouldn't have been there in the first place.
