The Trout Inn

Everything was excellent, the staff were friendly and the food was very nice for breakfast and evening meals. I would go again and recommend to anyone needing a hotel room overnight visiting the area.

We liked it as it was good location for what we needed to do lovely walking to some beautiful beeches

I don’t want to sound picky! There were a few things light on the landing very dark ! Could not see to outlying door plus the handle played up ! Don’t think the bathroom had been cleaned properly! There were half used shower gel bottles on the shelf which had been left with the shower gel bottles leaking down them maybe some one should have emptied one into another! I The other thing which is the room was to near the road but that’s not the owners fault just far to much traffic! I did have a nice chat with Paul the owners mum she was very friendly & nice ! Nice busy pub though just some attention needed

Lovely location and a friendly country pub. The room was spacious, modern decor and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent value for money. All staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would certainly recommend the Trout Inn and would definitely revisit.
