The location, the garden
No hot water, no gas, no Internet on arrival. This place is very retro, like being transported back 40 years. I had to contact an office to get instruction to light the boiler, which kept stopping and needing reset. It was necessary to keep a hot tap on as well as the shower to activate the boiler. The gas to the cooker was turned off and I had to trace the pipe back to a tap to turn it on. There was no spark ignition on the cooker and no matches. The Internet worked off a SIM 3g connection that had not been recharged. The place smelled of old cigarette odour, . The soft furnishings should be laundered to remove the smell.
