The host was exceptional, attentive and super helpful. She helped us with transport, left some pasta for us to cook, checked in on us, gave us recommendations and left some essential amenities. She made our trip !

The only thing was that there was one small fan and it was extremely hot

The property is in a very small area of houses, a good 45 mins walk up steps from Varenna and was tricky for those travelling without a car.

The property is spacious and has a beautiful view of the lake.

It is a bit far of a walk to the local train station that you will need to get into the main town of Varenna if you don’t have a car.

Great apartments, with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. You can feel like at home in these apartments. Wonderful hostess, she not only sent a list of recommended places to visit, but also brought a friend from the train station to the house. It was very nice of her. The apartment is spacious, with two bathrooms, for the group of girls did not have to stand in line for the shower :). Private parking place. Cozy terrace, with a fabulous panorama. The only thing the hostess could not provide us with - sunny weather :)
