- Exceptionally cozy lodge which provided the perfect stay for a few nights in the Lake District.
- Very comfy and large bed
- Hot Tub was amazing and provided incredible views
- All facilities were easy to use
- Exceptionally clean and tidy
- Parking directly outside lodge
- Only a few minutes walk from Coniston and nearby walks/hikes. only 30 mins drive from Windermere
- Digger nearby caused a bit of unwanted noise
- Nothing else worth mentioning... pretty much the perfect stay.

Perfect quiet location just off a popular walking route but only 5 minutes walk to village.
The accommodation has everything you need for a relaxing break. It’s super comfy and well equipped.
The sunrise views over the hills from the hot tub are not to be missed nor is the night sky without light pollution. Absolutely stunning!

Excellent compact lodge in a perfect location. There is parking beside the lodge, which is on the path to the Old Man of Coniston. So, to visit the village or access the mountains, I did not have to drive again for the whole stay after I arrived. Very comfortable large double bed; television and Wi-Fi; 2-seater sofa; small table with 2 chairs. There are also self-catering facilities: sink; microwave; 2-ring hob; toaster; kettle; caffetiere. Roomy shower room cum toilet. The heating is very efficient and easy to use. The local staff were very friendly and helpful.
No complaints. The location off the walking track was very peaceful.
