- The house was very clean and warm.
- Little dishwasher is really handy.
No real issues, small things that would be easy to fix.

The location was excellent, being right in the centre of the village, but yet in a quiet area. There were stunning walks straight from the front door. The property was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Wi fi was fast and dependable. Communication from the owners was reasonably accurate and quick. [but see note below] Bedroom furniture seemed mostly new/ish. The bedrooms were also of a good size.
There were not enough glasses or enough of any particular type. There should be a minimum of 6 glasses of each type in such a property. The garden was unkempt and needed a major tidy up to make it more useable and welcoming. Drying facilities were non-existent as the tumble dryer seemed not to work and there was no other alternative. I didn't bother contacting the owners as I had sufficient clean clothing for a 4 day stay, but this might have been problematic for a stay of longer duration. The living room carpet/rug was ancient, faded and needed replaced. The handbook for the property needed to be up-dated as some of the information was inaccurate [see info re drying/laundry] Living room furniture was OK although lighting was either full -on or not as there was no adequate secondary lighting such as side lights or table/floor lamps.

Ideal location for walking and proximity to great pubs. The property was cosy and very clean. The kitchen was very modern and well stocked. Communication, via email was answered promptly. The full bag of logs was also appreciated. We'll definitely use this company again and probably the same cottage if we can get it.
Late check in, although we did get access an hour or so earlier. The early departure time of 9.30 was also a little bit harsh. There was also only one parking space for a property sleeping 6. Extra parking further up the road but out of site of the property was available. There was also no dedicated recycling bin, although this might be a local council issue. It went against the grain to put all our rubbish in just one bin🙈
