The under floor heating was superb . The cottage was modern but had kept its charm . It has a warm and welcoming feeling to it. All facilities were there to make our stay comfortable . Close to the village centre and the steep hill was a challenge we enjoyed !
There are two allocated parking spaces but we often found another car parked in one of them . We have a
Camper van and it would have been much easier to park if we could have parked across both spaces .
A curtain across the glass of the front door would have given more privacy.

Excellent accommodation. Well equipped, clean, comfortable with stunning views of the Lake and the hills. Ideal for a trip to Coniston. We were there for the Lakeland Trails running events and it is just a mile to the start which was an extra bonus.
Would be happy to book again. It is worth mentioning that the access road is on a steep hill and the car park can be tricky.

Excellent location, high on hill, so wouldn't be for all , if walking was an issue.But great for us all.
