Beautiful cottage in the centre of Coniston village, literally right across the petrol station but you're tucked away so you can't hear much from outside. Had all the kitchen facilities we needed and such a wonderful space for a family. Bathrooms were modern and great water pressure.
There was an issue with the draining in the shower room but after reaching out in the morning to escalate the issue it was resolved by the time we returned in the evening.

Lovely surrounding village.
Tucked away backing onto a field with a stunning view.
Wifi wasn’t accessible, outdated to modern requirements (usb sockets etc)

Had to call Sykes Holiday Cottages office to get housekeeping to return as while cottage very clean, 2 beds not made and previous occupants bedding still in pile in hallway. However I have to say this was sorted within an hour which was is commendable and house keeping staff very pleasant and helpful.
