Some of the kitchen cupboard's could of done with being cleaned, food crumbs in bowls for cooking etc. Only one tea towel , would of been nice to have had one more.

The location of the property was fantastic for us and for the particular reason we visited Coniston. We couldn’t have wished for a better location. Despite it being right in the centre, in a weekend with a big event happening, the house was quiet and calm. The playroom was a great addition having two young children with us and the layout worked well for a family of 8. The dining table was big enough for all of us to sit around and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook ourselves. The view from the lounge window was wonderful! It was summer when we stayed and although it wasn’t particularly warm outside, the house felt cosy and warm even without any heating on. Contact with the property via booking.com was great - speedy replies, sufficient information and friendly support.

There are only two bathrooms in the house and another one on the top floor would be a great addition, avoiding having to go downstairs in the night. The pillows on the bed could be firmer - everyone agreed they were too soft. The property could do with cleaning a little better - not sure if the property owners monitor the cleaners, but everyone agreed it could be improved. I’m also aware that the house feels a little tired and dated in some areas, and this can sometimes add to the feeling of it not being as clean as it could be.
