3 Dixon Ground, Coniston

Nice modern clean property. Very comfy beds and lovely hot showers.

Shame the garden had not been kept nice, full of weeds and overgrown.

Location - fabulous! A short walk up to the coppermines and waterfalls or one of the routes to the Old Man. Space for the whole family, each having own space which was great especially travelling with teenagers. The cottage itself is lovely and very near The Sun Inn pub which is a 16th century building. Not much atmosphere but we were told it’s up for sale! 10 minute walk to Consiton Lake and 5 minutes from village.

Not so much the properly, but the amenities: Washing machine - fab - especially when travelling with the family however no clothes airer or washing line! Garden - able to use it to sit out - it is shared with next door. But it could do with a big tidy up, get rid of the weeds and make it a usable outdoor seating area, maybe? Main bedroom - mattress very uncomfortable - like sleeping on a brick! But was fine! Not complaining just making some observations.

Location and very comfortable.

Check out slightly early.

Lovely place to stay location was great and garden was a real bonus

Lots of scuffs on walls no pictures so don’t feel ‘warm’
