Hmlet Chinatown

Excellent location right in the heart of Chinatown with excellent access to attractions, metro's and food. Room was relatively spacious given the location, but felt a little cramped at times.

Bathroom could have been a little cleaner - nothing major though.

Great location! Can access major attractions in short time. And the facilities fulfilled what I need.

No elevator, luckily we stayed at the second floor. And since it’s an old building in Chinatown, we can hear the noise from the streets easily.

Excellent location, with two MRT stations only a 5-minute walk away. Good facilities: toiletries, hairdryer, iron, shared kitchen, washing machine and dryer. The staff responded quickly to my complaints. I was moved to the correct room the next morning, and the missing TV remote was delivered promptly. The housekeeping staff were very friendly.

I was initially given the wrong room, which was completely different from the one I had booked. It had no window, smelled damp, and the bathroom was missing the sink and mirror shown in the booking photos. The biggest downside was the noise. Chinatown is very busy at night, the air-conditioning units were loud, and there was even road construction with a jackhammer after midnight during my stay. Earplugs were essential. Would I stay again? No. Although the location and price are good, I prefer a quieter place to stay when I'm on holiday.
