ST Signature Jalan Besar

Whole private room (with ensuite). Clean bedding etc. Very close to Jalan Besar MRT station. Great value for Singapore. The shared spaces worked well (coworking desk + kitchen) Decent Wifi

Can hear neighbors if they are inconsiderate! Bathroom could do with a deep clean (limescale / mild mould). No windows

Staff are friendly, the beds are so comfortable

The breakfast could have more variety.

Air conditioning didn’t work last day

The staff is lovely and very responsive. Relatively central with easy access to bus stops.

The price we paid for private room (250 GBP for 1 night) was not good value for money (and we stayed in other hotels in Singapore so can compare). The room was very small and not comfortable for two people, and very little amenities in the room provided. The staircase from the bed had a funky lower step (mismatching the other steps in terms of height), which made it a little dangerous to climb down at night. There are other budget hotels in Singapore and in even better areas that I'd stay again in.
