About this apartment rental
Basement flat in the Cliftonville area of Margate. Minutes walk from the beach and close to the tidal pool.
We collect old vintage furniture.
The flat is self contained but below our family home.
Important things to note:
It is part of our home! We live upstairs with our young family and you may hear us below.
Our courtyard at the rear is secure & newly levelled but not tiled. So the price reflects that it’s not as pretty as we’d like!
The space
The flat is very light for a basement flat, with the sunlight pouring into the kitchen in the morning and the living room in the evening. The kitchen is a vintage white leaf 1950's set, and the floors have been newly tiled. The shower room is newly fitted but small. The living room is a lovely cosy space with bare floorboards, open fireplace and mid century furnishings.
Guest access
The whole basement flat, plus a small courtyard to the rear, is available for guests. Our garden is above but separated by steps & a fig tree & roses create privacy for you during your stay.

The bathroom is a small en suite shower room & toilet adjoining the bedroom.
