Temple Bar Townhouse

Proximity to the Temple bar etc. is excellent. Worth the sacrifice of the smaller rooms.

Great location

What’s great spot down where all the action is. Great staff 24/7 and our room was made up daily even though we didn’t ask. Cookies and fresh water! A few points. The building is old and they have been fixing it up. So at 9am we were greeted by construction noises. This insured we didn’t sleep in and blow a day. Also Birds. You can hear them in the early morning squawking away. This is normal for anywhere in the city’s entertainment area. The room had a slight smell. I have allergies and this did not set them off. It’s just old. But they’re working on it. Open the window and it goes away. Could’ve just been our rooms carpet. Pub crawl. This is property is centrally located and perfect for all the old pubs around. Do a google search for the oldest pubs Yes Guinness Store House is a must. It’s affordable and you get to pour a pint and have a pint at their viewing bar. Tickets purchased Guinness Academy You can take a bus right from the Airport to very close to the property (4min). Make sure you have change for the bus and or a topped up Leap card. This is the only payment method. The ride is just under 1hr and snakes through the city. Excellent views on the double decker. We used bus 24. Believe the fare was $2.00 you can order a non tourist Leap card ahead of time. Temple Bar is under 4 mins. Great entertainment Tons of food. Try Hanley's Cornish Pasties. Cheese and Onion. Fresh Take the bus anywhere. Its convenient Try the many museums that are mostly free.
