Hotel overall is an excellent choice for price and location. We would definitely stay here again.

Location is excellent, staff is friendly and accommodating, rooms are compact but clean and comfortable, small bathroom but good water pressure in the shower. Food in the restaurant/pub is delicious and fresh, especially breakfast! Pub was so much fun but gets busy in the evening. Our daughter got a room directly above the pub and could definitely hear the noise but our room was on the other side by the street and it was very quiet and there is a blackout shade that lets you sleep in:-)

Has all essentials you need in a room. Excellent location, just round the corner from the famous Temple Bar.

Convenient

The location was amazing as it was down the road from where I had to go on Saturday morning. I appreciated the fact that there was someone at the reception to check me in even though I notified them that I'd arrive late.

The hotel is located just at the entrance into the old town, staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and cozy. Downstairs you can find an amazing pub with live music and a great atmosphere!

Fab stay and great location

The location was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful and there were fresh home made cookies at reception. The room had plenty of storage space, a comfortable bed, great tea/coffee facilities and a lovely view.

One exterior window was faulty and would not close flush, therefore we could hear the street noise which did disrupt my husband's sleep.

We loved the location. We were disappointed in the lack of care that was taken to refresh our room. No stir sticks for coffee and tea. One cookie when we got two the first day?

We had the worst dinner. We ate upstairs and it took 2 hours to serve us food. Other people came and went and we did not get our food. The serve was nice and pushed the drinks but lacked on the food. Lovely location, but the lack of cleanliness really took away from the experience

Lovely receptionists and a great location.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness was unacceptable (see photos attached). There was no ventilation in the bathroom, and the room felt damp on arrival — it only improved slightly after using the air conditioning. Glasses had fingerprints, there was no bottled water, and the toilet and surfaces were dusty and dirty. Such a shame, as the staff were kind and helpful, but the overall hygiene really let the stay down.

£300 euro a night worst room we have stayed in Ireland, beware if you need assessable facilities.

Centre of town.

Around 4 pm in the afternoon, we walked straight out of lift into piles of bin bags, a strong smell of bleach, and a slippy floor. The room was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in! Bed up against the window quite literally!. So only assessable from bottom ( tight squeeze) and one side. I must add judging by the bathroom. This was supposed to be an assesability room ( we didn't ask for one). I would be really concerned how a person in a wheelchair or other mobility need would have to only be able to choose one side of the bed to access from. Oh, and of course, they travel alone, or how else would it be assumed the other person does not need to access the bed? Iron and board in wardrobe, hanging rail fell out as loose as lifted them off it. How would somebody the room was designed for have risks of injury just trying to get an iron out? I do have a hidden disability but not needing an assessable room, but I could see how this room leans to paying lipservice to disabilities. I did try and raise concerns to staff, but they are so engrossed in booking people in, and it is a very small reception like a cattlemarket.

Fair price central location, party scene, very loud

Windows don’t full close and temple bar is right under you so it’s very loud until about 4am live music and a lot of people on the piss. If that’s what your looking for look no further. But if you value sleep and a little quiet look elsewhere.

We had a good stay.

Good location. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant and bar were great. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning. It was nice that we were allowed to pick from the full breakfast menu.

The noise from the bar. The live music is very loud in the lower bar. We sat in the upper bar because the music level was fine there. The live music could be heard in our room. Live music is daily until 11:00 PM or so. You will need good quality ear plugs if you want to be able to get to sleep before 11:00 PM.

The floor in my bedroom was so slippy that I slipped into the bathroom in the middle of the night and really really hurt my head. I split open the back of my head but not wanting to make a fuss I didn’t make this known however there is no way that the team do not know about how slippy the floor is.

Tourist scam

I was fraudulently made to sign for a double room at check-in, even though I had booked a single. When I pointed this out to a different receptionist the next day, they simply told me that Booking.com would take care of everything — but nothing was actually resolved.

Great place to stay for a quick stay .

Location was great and close to bus stop for getting back to the airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were excellent. Also very quiet.
