It was central. I

It was very clean, however our room had a cracked window, so it was cold. Apart from that our stay was pleasant. We only stayed a night.

It could have been warmer. And there's no where to hang clothes.

Getting into the stairwell to the rooms from the street at night felt a tiny bit intimidating, but that was just my hyper alertness as I was traveling alone. But the staff were friendly at the bar and helpful

The shower was IMPOSSIBLE to regulate. Icy cold or burning hot. Noise was a bit much but able to sleep anyway.

Very clean, nice staff, right in the heard of the pub district

Very central, right in the heart of the absolutely magic Temple Bar district. Minutes away from the greatest bars (and Norseman pub is downstairs featuring live music, beers and traditional dishes). A pleasantly clean room and beds. A kettle, tea and even little cookies in the room. We were able to store our bags in the bar downstairs on checkout day from 9am. It gets very loud during the night and the hotel can hardly do anything about it of course, but they left a pair of earplugs for each guest which is a very nice gesture that made us feel welcome.

This was fully according to our expectations - but yes, it gets really noisy in the night, but that's part of the deal: we chose the location nevertheless.

The location was great, the room was clean and thoughtful (they gave us free ear plugs cuz it’s able a bar). Little confusing on how to get your room but you go straight to the bar and they are very helpful. I loved how central it was to everything as well.

A nice historic hotel In the heart of Temple Bar

It is in the middle of the Temple bar area. The room had a decent size, there was a great atmosphere surrounding the old historic building and an OK bar down below with friendly staff. You were literary staying at the ground zero of where everything happens in Dublin, with various entertainment venues, pubs, comedy clubs and restaurants mere meters from your doorstep. And you were in walking distance from several great attractions which is great when you are traveling on a time schedule leaving only a few days to explore Dublin.

This was by far the hotel I splashed the most money on for the entirety of my trip, during which I stayed at 5 different hotels across Ireland. I think it was expensive but not necessarily for the location. Keep in mind this is in Temple bar. Also one of the roll down window blinds were broken, the chain for closing and opening it had fallen off its little sprocket and entangled itself with the roll down curtain making it difficult to pull up and down which was needed as you wanted the view during daytime but needed the darkness to sleep.

Great location, can’t be beat for the heart of Temple Bar

Well appointed, very clean, comfortable, bathroom was a decent size and pristine. Great location for bus/tram, food, entertainment, independent shops. Rooms are at the top of the building, above the dining area, so there is no noise from the Norseman Bar.

The room has single glazing, it is in the heart of Temple Bar so be aware that there will be some noise from the street.

Fantastic location. Great room (stayed in quad). Clean. Tea & coffee facilities available.

No mirror in the main room. Staff refused to store our luggage at check out which meant we had to take our suitcases out with us for the day as flight was not until 6pm :-(

Location was ideal. Easy access from street.

The pillows were little to be desired. Euro bills are thicker than the pillows on the beds. Each room should have more than a small fan, the room we had had direct sunlight and with no AC it’s crucial to keep air moving.

Fun & friendly

Great location, helpful & friendly staff, comfy beds, clean and spacious. Were able to get into our room earlier than planned. Hairdryer, plenty of towels, toiletries and tea making facilities. Ear plugs were provided too as it’s in the Temple Bar area.

Disappointing that there was only one mirror and that was in the bathroom. Also the shower didn’t turn on until the mains were switched on and it wasn’t easy to find.

Nice quadroom in Tempel Bar, very nice bathroom, a bit noisy, ear plugs provided. Reasonable price.

The room was very nice. Had a quadroom with 2 singles and 1 double. Comfortable beds. Very nice bathroom. Corner room with windows towards Temple bar street. The bathroom had both shampoo and conditioner. The room was very welcoming. Big flat screen TV. I had emailed with the staff a couple of times before arrival, and I always got a speedy reply. We can also recommend their pub. The location is Tempel Bar so plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops just outside the door. Also a shop for buying smaller groceries is only a 2 min walk away. The day of our arrival we came with train to Heuston. It took about 25 min to walk. Very simple to find. The day of our departure we took the Dublin Express airportbus, only a 10 min walk from the hotel. Really well located for many sightseeings, like Book of Kells, hop on hopoff buses, etc, city shopping, cafees. So if you are fine with hearing noise outside your window until around 3 in the morning, I can highly recommend the quad room here. We will for sure be back.

The windows were not soundproof which we knew when we booked the room. If those would have been soundproofed it would have been a 10 points from us. The staff has put earplugs in the room, but we just put an extra pillow on top of our ears and we all slept well.

Right in the centre of yhe entertainment and restaurant district. Really comfy beds. Great ensuite. Secure and safe. Easy check in at Norseman pub, but rooms are in an adjacent building.

Great for when you only plan to crash for the night but be out during the day

Location was amazing. In the center of Temple Bar, close to everything we wanted to see in the city. Option to check out at any time was helpful, since we were leaving at 4 in the morning. Noise from the street cannot really be heard inside.

Cold water kept turning off. Every couple hours the water supply would turn off. It would only turn back on 10 minutes after flushing the toilet. So when we wanted to shower, we would first need to flush the toilet, wait 10 minutes and then everything would work. One window cannot be opened at all and the other one does not stay open (gravity keeps closing it), so you need to hold it open. We ended up jamming a can of beer into the window to keep it open. Window blinds on one of the two windows were broken and it gets very hot inside. Provided rotary fan was working overtime during our stay.
