Also nearby, visit Penzance, famous for pirates and its long promenade with open air lido. Visit the pretty fishing villages of Newlyn and Mousehole, white sandy beach at Sennen, Lands End and the rugged north coast is equally convenient to visit, with its scenic coastal paths, St Ives and famous surfing beaches. Nearby Praa Sands offers guests a long sandy beach, pub, restaurant, shop and golf course. The ancient town of Helston is famous for its Flora Day in May, Porthleven’s busy harbour and popular culinary delights ranging from pubs, bistros and cafés. Also, take a day trip to the beautiful Lizard Peninsula, UK’s most southerly point, with scenic coves and harbours.
