The Barn is perfectly positioned to explore some of Cornwall’s most beautiful and iconic destinations. Head to Penzance with its quaint cobbled streets, beautiful gardens, and thriving art galleries, or visit Newlyn, a traditional working fishing harbour where you can buy freshly landed seafood. Just along the coast lies Mousehole, famed for its picturesque harbour, charming gift shops, and welcoming cafés.
For a memorable day out, travel to Land’s End, the most westerly point of mainland Britain. Here you can explore dramatic cliffs, rugged coastline, engaging exhibitions, and even meet friendly farm animals.
This area is renowned for its outstanding beaches. Praa Sands is within walking distance — a long sandy beach perfect for families, with rock pools, caves, and easy ramp access from the car park. Sennen Cove offers another stunning stretch of sand, popular for both families and surfers.
