Trinco Diyash Beach Hotel

Nice clean new rooms near to city and beach

The hotel is modern and only recently built. They are still sorting things out like paying by card, so it's cash only at the moment and the tv is in the room but not yet set up. The room is modern and comfortable. There is a fridge and tea making facilities. As there is no pool, pool towels are not provided. However it is near the beach and as we don't travel with towels they kindly gave us some for the beach.

The bathroom doesn't have a shower screen across the bath so water goes everywhere. The staff were friendly but some areas lacked communication such as when we wanted dinner and no one came to serve us. There is no signage for the hotel from the main road and taxis often couldn't find it. This will probably be remedied soon.

Good hotel with spacious rooms and clean bathrooms. Excellent parking and location. However, the service is a big letdown.

The reception lady provided an incorrect bank account for the transfer, causing a major headache. They don't accept cards yet, so bring cash. Also, no lift facility, so be prepared to carry your bags to the upper floors. Room boys need more training. Great potential, but poor management of staff and payments.
